The gourmet menu at Frida restaurant features such delicacies as grilled flank fillet with roasted cactus leaves and Chipotle chili pepper stuffed with cheese, red snapper fillet in zucchini flower sauce with corn mushrooms, and grilled portobello mushrooms and endives covered with Guajillo chili pepper cream.   • Cocina de Autor is the signature restaurant at Grand Velas Riviera Maya. This Spanish restaurant features a world-class menu created by internationally acclaimed Spanish chefs Bruno Oteiza and Mikel Alonso. Each day at Cocina de Autor brings new choices in Spanish haute cuisine when Chefs Oteiza and Alonso present their signature, gourmet Spanish Basque dishes in the a la carte menu of specialties. The comprehensive lunch and dinner menu at Azul features everything from grilled hamburgers to sushi and tempura, to pasta, pizza, croissant sandwiches, burritos and tacos. Azul also serves breakfast.

• Bistro
  • Bistro is a delicious French-style restaurant with a prime ocean-front location in the adult-only section of Grand Velas Riviera Maya. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Bistro offers a wide selection of French-inspired dishes as well as local favorites. The Bistro menu features soups, salads, sandwiches on fresh-baked French bread, decadent quiches, flakey croissants, and Riviera Maya specialties like Mayan ceviche and seafood Yucatan pozole. The Bistro breakfast menu features such delightful offerings as French toast, omelets, and Playa del Carmen eggs. Bistro also offers an extensive selection of international wines.

• Chaka
  • Located near the pool of the Grand Velas Riviera Maya jungle section, Chaka is a casual, open-air restaurant situated amid the tropical jungle foliage of mangroves, Salam, Chechen and Chaka trees. The Chaka menu features a variety of international delights that are natural and healthy. Specialty coffees, international wines, mouthwatering desserts, and tantalizing entrees are just a few dining categories on the Chaka menu.

• Lucca
  • Italian-Mediterranean cuisine distinguishes the scrumptious menu of seafood, gourmet meats, and homemade pastas at Lucca. House specialties include agnello de Lucca, ravioli served on a bed of mushrooms with basil and black olive sauce, and roasted leg of lamb served with eggplant caviar marinated in a thyme-infusion sauce and Robalo al Duo di pesto. Our specialty restaurants at Grand Velas offer guests an exquisite dining experience in beautifully designed spaces. Casually elegant resort attire is required for Frida, Lucca, Piaf, Cocina de Autor, and Sen Lin. Gentlemen will feel comfortable in closed footwear. Please no shorts, t-shirts, sleeveless shirts, sneakers or beach sandals. Ladies will feel comfortable in evening resort attire with non-beach footwear.
