THE BEACH
The hotel is located on Playa Sabalo (Sabalo Beach), whose pure golden sands typify Mazatlan's exquisitely pristine beaches, curving for miles in the shelter of the famous Three Islands.
If you favor direct beach access, just take one step from our hotel premises and you're right on the sand! The beach itself is a vast recreational expanse stretching north and south, where you're free to hang ten or just hang loose. You can people-watch, take that aerobic walk or leisurely stroll, swim, or just relax in the sun and salt air breeze with family and friends. Our highly-trained staff are there to ensure an orderly and well-maintained beach environment for your vacationing pleasure.
While a number of independent companies offer water sports and other beach-related activities, the hotel itself does not have any direct association with them, nor do we have authority or control over life-guarding services. Although the natural "harbor" of the Three Islands normally ensures calm seas, we recommend that our guests always take precautions appropriate to any ocean sport or activity, and that they confirm the presence of a life guard when enjoying the beach.
THE POOL
Costa de Oro's free-form, thematically-designed pool offers a panoramic ocean view from its natural rock formations, lush tropical gardens and cascading waterfalls, where you can swim, soak, or just kick back and work on your tan. Our wading pool also includes an artificial beach where kids can create their own aquatic adventures.
You can enjoy the best of both worlds and have it made in the shade at our poolside bar, where you can enjoy your favorite refreshing beverage or cocktail. Bar service is wherever you are: deck chair, lounge or poolside pagoda.
For those seeking more private moments, alone or with friends, the Jacuzzi is the perfect place: pool-adjacent and adult-only, with a capacity of up to 14 persons.
THE JACUZZI
Enjoy a relaxing interlude with your significant other or socialize with friends, while savoring a refreshing Margarita before the azure splendor of the Pacific Ocean. Later you'll watch a brilliant red sun slip beneath the sea beyond the Three Islands, casting luminescent streams of light against shadow in the spectacular display of a Mazatlan sunset.
COFFEE SHOP
Badlands Coffee Company features world quality aromatic beans to satisfy your coffee-lover's palate anytime of day, in an atmosphere both familiar and contemporary. Tastefully-appointed in minimalist lounge design, Badlands also lets you know you're right in the heart of the Mazatlan jet set. You can choose from the most scrumptious of desserts and tastiest appetizers to complement the exquisite flavors and aromas of Badlands' extensive selection of coffee brews. Open from 8am to 7pm.
SPA & BEAUTY SALON

At the Spa, our experienced and specially-trained therapists provide state-of-the-art facial and body treatments and a great variety of relaxing massages, all designed to maintain your perfect balance of body and mind.
Our beauty salon is professionally-staffed and well-prepared to meet the satisfaction of the most demanding of clients seeking to maintain that ideal image.
The Spa has two individual massage rooms, one of which is reserved for couples, as well as a body treatment room, individual sauna, foot-tub pedicures, and three separate rooms devoted to cosmetics, manicures, and hair cutting and styling.
The Spa is open from 8am to 7pm, Monday through Saturday.
TENNIS
If you want to work on your tennis game, Costa de Oro is the place for you.
Our three, hard-surface tennis courts are immaculately maintained and ideal for working your game up to its highest level.
We also have an on-site tennis Pro to assist you with private lessons, or even help you organize your own tournament.
The tennis court is free of charge, and requires advance reservations directly at the hotel front desk.

We have complimentary outdoor parking with 24-hour security.
