Our tropical paradise offers many activities both on and off-property from sun-up to sun-down. Join a game of beach volleyball, learn how to create your favorite cocktail or go for a kayak ride across the azure blue waters. Your hardest decision: figuring out what to do first. Daily Activities

Complimentary activities take place at the main lower pool and beach area everyday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and include beach and water volleyball, pool games, water aerobics, basketball, bingo, shuffleboard, Spanish lessons, Mexican salsa and guacamole making, volleyball, and ping pong along with "Wet & Wacky" and "Lazy" games.

Entertainment

The town of Cabo San Lucas is well known for its nonstop nightlife and exotic blend of cosmopolitan culture but should you want to stay in, the Villa del Palmar offers its own unique splash of authentic Mexican culture mixed with California glamour. The unbelievable sunsets and turquoise blue waters make for a perfect romantic setting should you care to dine or stroll along the powdery shoreline while the array of nightly shows will keep you entertained with what can only be described as Mexican magic.

Fishing

The crystal clear waters of the Baja peninsula offer some of the best sport fishing in the world. The area is known as the "Capitol of the Marlin" and Blue, Black and Striped Marlin, as well as Mahi-Mahi, Sailfish, Roosterfish, Tuna and many more fish thrive in the Sea of Cortez. Our Concierge is happy to help you plan your day on the water. Reservations require a minimum of 48 hours notice.

Golf

Los Cabos boasts eight golf courses, two of which are rated in the top 50 golf courses in the world. The desert terrain, abundant wildlife and stunning ocean vistas provide an extraordinary backdrop for your swing. In addition, you'll find championship courses developed by some of the most renowned designers in the game of golf including Nicklaus, Watson and the Dye Corporation.

Golfers will enjoy this Dye designed 18-hole golf course known as the Cabo San Lucas Country Club. The Cabo San Lucas Country Club is set amid endless cacti and blooming Bougainvillea bushes and is the area's only course offering views of the famed landmark, The Arch at Land's End.

Kids in Paradise

We provide a fully supervised Kids Club to ensure that your children are occupied and safe, should you want some time for yourself. Our highly trained, child-certified staff provides age specific activities Sunday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for children ages 4 to 12, with "Kid Nights," including dinner, arcade, disco and games on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Your reservations for Kids Club should be made 24 hours in advance. Contact our Resort Entertainment Office.

Tennis

Villa del Palmar offers two tennis courts available for day or evening play. Complementary lessons are provided, six days a week, at 9:00 a.m. for Advanced - Intermediate, 10:00 am for Intermediate - Beginners and 11:00 a.m. for Beginners. Private lessons are also available for $35 USD per hour. A minimum of 24 hours advance notice is needed for a reservation and is based on availability. Tennis Courts are open from 7 am to 8 pm. with a $10 USD fee for night play after hours.

Tours

We provide a large variety of tours and excursions throughout the area: Everything from ATV rides in the desert, a glass bottom boat cruise, horseback riding on the beach, scuba diving, whale watching (seasonal) and more. Contact our Resort Entertainment Office for suggestions and reservations.

Water Sports

One of Mexico's claims to fame is its transparent blue-green waters. Here, the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific offer you unrivaled sites for scuba diving, snorkeling and whale watching (seasonal). Go for "above" with a glass bottom boat tour, a fishing expedition or a sunset cruise, or be adventurous and go "below" for spectacular scuba diving, snorkeling and diving. Whether you choose to go cruising, jet-skiing, water-skiing, or dive under water, you'll be transfixed by the brilliant crystalline views. Whale Watching

January to March is the peak time to join one of the many local tour companies on a memorable whale-watching excursion. This is when thousands of grey whales migrate every year from cool Alaska waters to our warm Baja Peninsula. The experience is dreamlike: these majestic creatures bobbing to the surface, piercing the brilliant blue of the Pacific and then dipping away just in time for the flash of your camera.
